It’s not how you fish it, it’s who is fishing it

the fog was TERRIBLE on the way back this morning, took us an hour to go about 5 miles. could not see anything, just had to trust the gps was leading me right.

How did you two do on the night?

….well that’s the ONLY fish in that spot!

We headed back about 4:30 with 9 miles to travel. My guest was facing backward and when he turned around, said “holy #%##! How can you see?” I told him I couldn’t and he should just turn back around.

She was thick last night. I could see the water about 20 feet in front of the boat. I have a route set up for 9 or so mile trip. This is not a “trail” but a route. The gps rose directs the pilot by pointing in the right direction. It really takes the “being brave” out of the equation. Since the gps keeps me in the channel, all I really have to concern myself with is obstructions in the river…. like Perchy

    Nice fish there Mr Perch!

oh, we did not cruise back to the access. ran just above idle and enjoyed a beer or two. i don’t need to dump the boat at 4:00 AM on the river, or hit a log, etc.
