Pelican Lake by Monticello. Was great this winter at times. There was talk of liberalized fishing, but it never happened. Not sure how the big fish came out though.

Look in the DNR regs for any waters that have special regs for panfish around that area.

The fish I ate over the winter were delicious, but that was a different time obviously. We have a ton of good panfish lakes around us. Buffalo can produce some nice crappies. I just started searching the DNR Lake Finder. Some lakes produced, some didn’t. Good luck!
