I stopped by Calhoun today to chase some bass around. Couldn’t find any bass shallow yet but she was. It wasn’t a monster and didn’t measure it but somewhere in the 36” range. I had a very nice guy hold my feet while i reached down the wall because the water is so low, and another snap this photo. My spinnerbait is toast but it was fun and a good warm up for mille lacs this week. see ya out there

Nice fish man, surprised someone didn’t ask you if they could keep it.

Dude nice fish! I live a block away from Calhoun and Isles, why have I not strolled down to cast a few?

Beauty! Looks just like the “pike” a guy caught down on Lake of the Isles a couple years back on fishing opener. It was all over the news. Seems he got a ticket out of that deal.

I have only caught one muskie in my whole life…it was about as big as your fish’s tail. Those Calhoun fish have very cool markings!
