The DTs are very good casting cranks. If you like fishing wingies I’d recommend you add a few 6’s and 10’s.

I like the weight to size ratio on them. You can cast them a country mile!

I really like they way the DT 10’s keep the depth all the way back to the boat.

James is right; they are great cranks for casting wingdams. The down fall is the price tag and my poor wingdam/crank recovery rate

As far as trolling… They are definitely not designed for it but I have caught my two largest Walleye’s trolling with them, one on a DT-6 and one on a DT-10…

If you do troll with them, the trick is to move slloooww. These baits have plenty of action moving slowly, no need to rip them through the water.

Don’t try trolling them in the Fall on Mille Lacs!

    They don’t work.

They’re great, but they cost a fortune. What is the buy 3 get 1 free deal?

(Rapala days coupon), it expires June 30th. I get the Outdoor News and the add has been in there for awhile. I’ve used quite a few already.. It’s a good deal when you go through lots of cranks every year.. I believe it’s a Gander Mtn. deal?? But don’t quote me on that..

I use these quite a bit, 2 quick bits on these.

Those long hooks on them, really like to snag up in dams…

If you get weeds or debris on the rap, dont slap it on the water to clean it, these baits will bust every time.

I have personally done it a few times… So I don’t toss those much anymore, for $8 they shouldn’t bust like that.

Nope E, haven’t tried trolling them, but thats a good idea. I’ll have to give them a shot later this week.

Lip, since your ranger only gets wet once or twice a year, they may have put a few in since the last time you were up there…..
