I am going to the Vets Camp on big marine lake this week end. i was wonering if any one my have a fishing report for the lake or good area to fish. I have only fished it in the winter time around the north end boat launch. I hear that there are walleye in there. I will bring the leeches and crawlers.
Fishing the deep part of the underwater point that goes through mid-lake is especially good for walleye in the evenings. Work the deep end of the point from shallow to deep with the trolling motor with a leech or crawler on a long snell. Don’t be suprised if you end up with some huge bass doing that also. BTW…the walleye in this lake run on the large, to very large side when you do get into them. 
I have also had luck working shorter snells along the cabbage beds from the Vet’s camp north. The farther north the better as the cabbage gets better as you get close to the launch on Mayberry.
