From everything I have read, David had no reason for suicide. I’ll bet when this is all said and done, just another case of Auto-erotic asphyxiation.

Thats what it sounds like. One rope around his neck one around his penis. If I was too off my self by hanging, one rope would be enuff.

Perhaps he didnt know which head to tie the rope around…

I think the lesson to be learned here is never put a noose around your neck. Whether your choking the chicken, standing on a ladder or driving your Skeeter, just dont do it….

None of us can ever know the impact left behind or legacy we might destroy by ending our time early. It is an act of pure selfishness. When’s the last time you went to see a sick friend or family member and said, “Man, I just wish you’d die so this could be overwith.”? Nobody comes in and says, “Why don’t you just end it all so you can put all of us out of our misery?”.

People get inspired by stories of courage, even when the hero dies. The last words you share with someone could literally be a make or break moment for someone else. We should always do all we can to press on no matter what. We pity suicides but have legends and stories of old about people who fought whatever until the end! Something had to take them, not a moment of glorious giving up!

I am too compassionate to claim that suicide is for losers but the end result is exactly that. The only thing left is something lost and NOTHING good comes of it. It is but a pity party quickly consumed by the darkest shadow of time. What warmth or peace can be found in a flame that burns no more?

I urge everyone who believes this doesn’t matter to re-examine any circumstance that might bring a suicidal desire and ask this question: Who is it that wants me dead? It can go deeper than this but who’s doing the answering? If we do not believe others should speak for us, we should also refrain from speaking for them. Who wants you dead? Did they say so, or do you just think so?

    Live. Inspire. Live on.
