Maple tree

I have a young Maple tree that has a lot of black spots on the leaves. Some of the leaves are black on the ends and curling up. Anybody know what this is and how to treat it ?

I take it, it’s not a terminal illness. Let it run it’s course ?

My neighbors Maples leaves have almost all fallen off. Here is a web site about it. It is a fungus. The tree will get more leaves.

your tree should be fine. Just be sure to rake up any leaves and remove them from the area as they drop because the fungus will continue to regenerate from the afflicted leaves

And then tap it next year!

Thanks all ! Just put in in a couple years ago, so I didn’t want it to croak.

Mine had same thing years ago. Remember lots of water to keep it healthy.
