Well the surgery went well, I guess. Had 15 staples that looked like railroad ties going down my neck. Tried fishing last weekend and got about 2 hours in and I was beat, had to lay down as soon as they got me back home. Still on restrictions, until at least after the 3rd, if the doc releases me. Was going to post a pic, but did not want to scare any of the walleye guys

Don’t push too hard. Glad to hear that you got out and wet a line. Hoping for a speedy recovery.

Sure would be nice if we could heal up as fast as when we were teenagers

Glad to hear your doing well. Just takes time

Sounds like you are doing better, glad to hear. Just do what your doctor says. Your physical therapy is also very important to how you feel after you are healed.

Glad to hear you made it to the water even if for a couple hours

Not that I am a doctor but if you were to ask me….fishing has got to be the best therapy

I bet it felt good to be on the water again. Happy healing.

Now if you were a walleye guy you`d be out trolling and be able to sit back relax, fish and recover sooner.

Sure am glad everything went well for you.
