Jordan landed this big brute walleye with Grandpa. Of course this was his biggest to date but should be able to get a couple more with Grandpa…Caught with Grandpa with one of his homemade hair jigs…30 1/2″ long, 9lbs.

Way to go. Nice fish. Does that mean he is also pitching wing dams at age 7?

Very nice, and way to take the time on the picture with a good back ground and letting him calm down a little bit .

I’m so jealous Jordan, my grandpa doesn’t make me hair jigs.

Congrats young man, I suspect many 30 inch eyes in your future!!

All I have to say is watch for this kid in the future. I have seen a lot of people come through my boat and I can say, not just because he is my kid, that he has all the right postures and coordination for becoming a phenomanal fisherman. I have sat behind him and just watched him for hours in awe. I can say he has kicked my butt a few times fishing wingdams. Here is a picture of him couple weeks ago with a hook set and lean back.
