Please give a warm welcome In-Depth Outdoors newest sponsor!

Jack Conrad of Uncle Jacks Worm Slicer!

Here’s more about Jack and his Worm Slicer in his own words.~

Please allow me to introduce myself, I’m Jack Conrad of J.C. Company.

Maker of the popular Worm Slicer and Line Puller.

I have fished for many years and I enjoy introducing young fisherman to the sport. Feed them meal in the spring and fall is an old saying this still holds true today. Sizing your bait in the spring and fall is important by crushing your worms apart is killing the worm and leaves a mess.

This fishing device that I market is used for cutting night crawlers, rubber worms and new artificial baits. Bite size your baits and catch more fish is what I always say.

The Line pulling capacities are for the new style micro braided lines and your X T lines that are almost impossible to break. By simply wrapping the line around the grooves in the worm slicer and holding it with your thumb, you can pull your snagged line free, with out breaking your equipment or cutting you hands.

You can size your bait to the desired length by simply rolling the slicer across the worm, as it cuts; it helps maintain most of the entrails in the bait not on you, or your boat. This device can easily roll over rubber worms, pinching them off to desired length. The slicer can also be used on Crab tails and shrimp to remove the body from the tail with a pinching rolling motion and leaving the entrails mostly in body.

A lead head Jig and a short piece of crawler is a hot bait in the spring and summer for walleyes. Lake Erie is well known for great walleye fishing, and the most common bait used is half a night crawler on an Erie Spinner. For pan fish, bite size and less mess is the answer. This fishing device is simple to use and safe for kids and they learn to enjoy fishing. For cat fishing, instead of wrapping a night crawler around a hook, cut it up into three pieces and place hook through the center of each piece, which allows six ends to producing an entrails scent.

As I say once you use an Uncle Jack’s worm Slicer and Line Puller you‘ll never pull worms or pull snagged lines bare handed again, Enjoy

    Sincerely

    Jack Conrad

Welcome Jack! Your worm slicers aren’t just for worms anymore! They work great for chopping up suckers for cat bait.

It’s great to be part of a team.
    Thank You For the welcome.
Tip for yea When I buy a new plastic box with compartments dividers I lay out the shape I desire. Than I place a small amount of RTV on the bottom of each divider let it set up. Now I don’t worry about the divider lifting and tacket getting under them I stop the mixing up my tacket and the lid not sealing.
    Get out and Fish.
