My steering wheel trim switch shorted out today and now I have no power to my other two trim switches or engine ( not even start up bells and lights). Does anyone know where the fuses are located on a 1995 stratos 278dc? I looked under the console and could not find a breaker or fuse. The normal console switches have breaker switches right below the toggle switches but the main one does not. There is a small fuse coming off of the battery but does not appear blown or even going to the motor. Maybe in the engine case? The engine is a evinrude fitch 150. Any help is appreciated.

Usually there is a secondary fuse box somewhere, mine happens to be in the gear locker in front of the console, but I’m not running a stratos either so I couldn’t help you exactly, otherwise I’ll bet someone from BBC is familar with your boat.

Thanks for the reply. I got the problem fixed now. Seems it was a small fuse under the cowl of the engine. Could have never found it if it wasnt for a call to a marine shop. It does seem strange that there is no power to the switch when the fuse goes out in the engine though.
