I had an issue with a neighbor so when the new phone books came out i put an ad in the paper wanting all the old phone books people had. I told them to leave on driveway. Then at christmas I took out another add for used christmas trees for a habitat project. I said just leave in driveway or on yard and I would take care of them. Never had an issue again, til he put my house up for rent while i was on vacation. I moved about 6 months later.

This guy is incredible!! typical for modern people though always wanting something for nothing.. he was planning on making you regrade his yard all along. that is the way he wanted it and he thought that by letting you pile the dirt there that he could do it on your dime. Sell the house and move to a new subdivision with people that do not have a broomstick crammed up their [censored]. no matter what you do this guy is NEVER going to be happy and he is going to do everything in his power to feel uncomfortable or cause additional frustration for you.. I had a similar “dissagreement with the guy who lived behind me because he would spray roundup along his side fence lines and the overspray would considerably blow into my yard and kill my grass, top this off that I would step in a pile of dog crap from his dog every week when mowing my lawn. talked to him about it to no avail he was a real [censored] about it and was purposefuly less carefull after every conversation. then I spent about 25 bucks to solve the problem.I roundupped his entire back yard and piled all of the dogshit from my yard into a box and mailed it to his wife at home… No problems since and his new lawn looks a thousand times better than the old weed farm.. sometimes you have to fight fire with fire..the guy is still an [censored] though..

You should tell marv you already fisxed it twice. If he wants it done again he does it and you watch and tell him that he is doin it right or wrong, there not a snow balls chance in hell I would fix it three times. especially when he goes to fix it himself after you had an excavator come and do it the way he wanted it done. You should ask him what a spaded shovel feels like up side his head after he talks to your wife like that

jd…sorry to hear about this. You tried to make it right and he still snubbed you. That would be the most frustrating part about this situation for me. I would have him there and fix it to his liking. Smile, pay the bill, and move on. It will be worth it in the end since you are neighbors.

Well, after thinking about it for a day, I had decided to try another time to get his lot the way he wanted it. My builder (Marv was going to name in the suit also) was to meet with Marv last night. I called my builder to let him know what I was planning to do, but he wanted a shot at talking to Marv.

I will post the end results next week after everything is done, if anybody cares to hear, “The Rest of the Story.” All I will say at this point is, absolutely, UNBELIEVABLE!

Jd, got this in an email…….thought it might give you a laugh.

Dispute Between Neighbors – this is a true story…

A town councilor in Wales, Mark Easton, had a beautiful view of the
mountains, until a new neighbor purchased the land below his house and built
    a new home.

The new home was 18 inches higher than the planning dept. had approved, so
Mark Easton, mad about his lost view, went to the local authority to make
sure they enforced the roof line height. The new neighbor had to drop the
    roof height, at great expense.

Recently, Mark Easton called the planning dept, and informed them that his
new neighbor had installed some vents on the side of his new property. Mark
didn’t like the look of these vents and asked the planning dept to
investigate. When they went to Mark’s home to see what the vents looked
like, this is what they found…

The email went on to say that there was no zoning ordinances that covered vent placement, so the vents stayed as pictured.
