Only votes coming from unique IP addresses will be counted.

Right now we have multiple entries coming from the same IP address all voting for the same entry. I hate to do it but to keep things fair only the initial vote cast from each UNIQUE IP address will be counted.

Welcome from all of us here at IDO!

We want as many people as possible to show support for their favorite entry so don’t hesitate to register, vote and cast your ballot. But just to be fair any entries coming from duplicate IP addresses will be discarded as there’s really no other way to go about conducting a fair online contest if we didn’t do so.

So keep those votes coming. Don’t worry about the IP address “thingie.” I’ll straighten it all out behind the scenes on the backside once the voting period has wrapped.

How to select the right Beckman Net… for flathead cats & sturgeon (and muskies if you’re in to that sort of thing ):

    Submitted by – Brian Klawitter @ http://www.idacatguides.com

I guide for fish. Trophy class fish that keep me and my customers up late at night. Literally. With my guide client’s time and money on the line, here what I need in a net:

    • I need a net that can handle 20 to 60 pound fish day in and day out.
    • A net that’s not going to come apart at the critical moment. Nets with plastic or lightweight aluminum yokes are for guys that are looking to tell stories about the one that got away! I like pictures of big fish not sad customers.
    • A net that can land a trophy and then help revive the fish before releasing it.
    • A net that I can count on, day in and day out!

I turned to the folks at Beckman™ to guide me to the net that will fit my needs. The Model BT264243 with a 26×42 treated net fit the bill perfectly and will safely swallow up the largest flathead or sturgeon I’m likely to encounter.

The hoop and handle is drawn aluminum adding strength for bringing in the big ones. The handle extends to 8 feet for the days that I want to do some metro bank fishing with friends yet the handle collapses to 6 feet making it perfect for boat fishing and storage.
