My wife, 2 year old son and I are thinking of going to Wisconsin Dells this week. We have never been there before, and was wondering if anyone has any tips? Thanks in advance!!! Joe

You might be a little early for alot of things that go on but it is a nice place to go and walk around. We walk around down town and go in all the shop. Good food and drinks. Sites galore!! Oh ya take the bank with you. Money will flow like water sometimes, but it is fun!!!

Have patience for one, it can be a zoo even this time of year. There are a million things to do and places to eat. The indoor water parks are great for kids and adults. But like I said be patient and if you dont like crowds venture out into the country. Dan

Kalahari has great mid week specials (Sunday through Thursday) and the best indoor water park in the area if you have not secured a room yet.

I haven’t experienced the Kalahari yet. We’ve found the service at the Great Wolf Lodge to be superior to the Wilderness. GWL has new outlet shops next door. If it matters, we liked the fact that GWL kept the water park for their guests, exclusively. You might want to check if that is still the case. The empty lake may have had an impact on that rule. None of the above could be considered inexpensive. Midweek specials are best.

I take my wife and two kids to the Great Wolf Lodge at least twice a year for the last three years.
    Great motel.
Lots to do in the Dells, way more than a family can do in a week.
