I got a call from Shooter yesterday with an invite to go fishing today. His specialty is draggin cranks and is something I know little about. I was honored to get the call from him. He also owns The Bluffs bar and grill yeah that guy!(They have an awesome friday fish fry just ask for the drawn butter!). We met at Everts this am and he said we were headed for pool 3 and he was going to show me some spots, teach me to pull cranks and catch my biggest fish ever. I was excited for both as I have never been on pool 3. He also had borrowed his buddie’s Ranger! OMG does that thing ROCK! 55.6mph on gps! YEEEEEEEEEEEE HAW! man what a ride. We hit the first spot and starting our first pull and here comes the wind and next rain crap! We’ll we made a few pulls with nothing and the rain quit! So we spooled up and ran up river to another hot spot. Made a few pulls again no luck. 3rd spot here we come. Finally got a small sauger on . Ended up with 3 fish there but all small. 4th spot no luck. 5th spot pay dirt! Small walleye and next pass my new PB 24.5″ and 5.5#’s dang nice walleye ! Caught a couple more and lost another VERY NICE walleye but hey that’s fishing! Had a great day on the water and have to Thank Shooter for putting me on fish! I have no idea where we were but thanks again it was a blast! I take back all the bad things I said to you in the boat!

Nice fish You probably shouldnt have your hand over the head of the fish, hence the name WEE That Ranger sure looked like a sweet boat, I need more friends like that

Tim, it was pool 4 and we were dead sticking 6 inch bull heads. It was a blast fishing with you and hopefully we can up that fish next time out.
