I would agree. Seems to be working great without the banner ads.

I tried to log on yesterday all day at work and was not successful. I figured that there were more issues and the powers that be were working getting them isolated. This morning I logged on idohunting and things were a tad slow, but everything worked with some patience.

So far in here I have been fine, but I will certainly get back if there are any issues on this end. Most of my web pages are working well enough for me to check things out, but I am checking my ‘puter on this end also as I believe I am having issues as well.

The banners are back so that OutsideHub can debug the problems. As was noted, without the banners members/guests did not have any issues. Thanks for confirming this!

Just locked up… different scenario… went to General Forum… Midway USA on top and the Chevy/FLW down the side… locked up tight.

I have no idea what’s going on. The offending flash banners are BACK.

I have multiple emails and phone calls into the outfit placing those banners. This is getting old.

Windows XP, firefox or IE, no problems locking up during all the scrambling on the site…….other than yesterday when the site was shut down. But today, if I click on the “Channel” tab, and go to the hunting site, I get the front page, but there is no place to login…..if I use my original bookmark, I go to the login page. Is that something that is still a work in progress?

You know maybe it is a Chevy thing, slowing things down and breaking down get a Ford banner up there this site would fly and not cause any breakdowns

Well I have seen the dreaded Chevy/FLW banner come up several times now and haven’t had any issues. I did seem to notice a couple “pauses” when the Chevy “Total Confidence” banners came up, but I doubt I would have even noticed them if performance issues where not in the spotlight.

The “bad” banners were flash banners that have now been converted to .jpg non-animated files. It is GOOD to hear that the switch seems to have us headed in the right direction.

She locked up tight on me as I was retrieving my Pm’s. I waited and waited, I rebooted after what seemed like 5 minutes.
First time in a few days. I will check my computer tonight to make sure it is not on my end.

Do you guys really have to re-boot? Doesn’t CTL-ALT-DEL-> end process work?

Yes it does, I was just in a hurry as I typed that last response.
    Sorry for the confusion

It hasn’t locked up in awhile here, but when Ctrl Alt Del’ing, Task Manager would come up and autmatically quit IE. Typically I have to select and end process, then it asks if I would like an error report… it did not do that when this was happening….

    James:

I didn’t have any problems last week… Only in the last two days have mine arose. I am getting in now, but am trying to report what is going on. It might be easier for you to look on the post I made on hunting in the G. Discussion forum. I tried to explain what was not happening each time I tried to visit. I will try to pm you or continue to post here if I can. Since I have been back, I still can’t get every where. More later after I see what I can do or not do.

    Hi Mark

The post on the hunting site says you weren’t able to login or nav the fishing site. Since you’re here and posting I would think it safe to say that issue no longer seems to be in play for you. Or did I misunderstand?

Thanks for the timely response as always!!! It seems that I may be getting better and better as the day progresses. Trying to take advantage of the beauty day up here in the nort. You know its actually almost too hot!!! Did I just say that!!! I could respond to mail earlier, let me go try that.

Just now when I submitted to review, it wouldn’t let me on that page. It is not locking up, but not sending all the info per page requested.?.?.?

I’m sorry but I don’t have anything to offer regarding what you’re experiencing. Hopefully it clears up completely.

I tried to answer Randy W’s request for info on Willow Lake. I was able to get into and write the response. Then it took a couple of times to go to review, then I never could get it to send the response.

Assuming that you have no ideas, then we will just see what happens as the day/days go by. I have mentioned that I have been having trouble on my end, funny thing is up until two days ago, while everyone else is having a trouble, I was doing just fine on IDO. I’ll stay in touch and hopefully mine works itself out with it practicing on the toggle. If it seems like everything else is going good here, I will just pm.
