In December 2007 my new husband and I went to Indian Rocks Beach, Florida for our honeymoon. It’s on the Gulf side. We did a lot of fun things in FL, but we both agreed when we go back, all we’re doing is deep sea fishing! It was super fun! The boat was huge (with real bathrooms!) and the water was so blue! It was a 2-hour ride out into the Gulf to get to our fishing spots. The ride was very relaxing and breezy. I fished for Grunts using squid chunks as bait while Billy fished for Grouper using herring. We kept a good mess of Grunts and a few Grouper to eat. I like the Grouper better. It was a blast and if you’re going to FL any time soon, I definitely recommend the Double Eagle II all-day fishing vessel at the Clearwater Marina.
