To the powers that be at IDO

I have been having more and more trouble navigating this web sight. My computer starts to run very hard as soon as I start looking around here. It ends up locking up and I have to shut down in order to get back up and running. This only happens at IDO so I am assuming it is not my computer at issue. I am not sure but all the interactive web ads might be bogging me down. Not sure what to do but it is becoming rather troubling. I like spending a good deal of my computer time here but if I keep locking up I’m not sure if I can continue Any ideas or suggestion?

Looks like an isolated incident….. Try clearing your cookies?

This did the trick Thank You, it was getting a little frustrating. Just out of curiosity what the heck is a cookie and why was it plugging me up here at this site. My IT IQ is single digit

Cookies track your read/unread posts. Keeps track of your password. Housekeeping stuff like that.

I changed to Fire Fox and all the problems were solved. I had the lock up problem too. I also got rid of my cookies.

I have noticed the same thing over the last week from multiple locations. Slow loading, locking up and not responding.

It only seems to be happening with IDO for me as well.

I’ll look into Firefox, in the meantime I will have to get used to hurling my cookies

I vote for more STATIC ads. It drives me crazy having every ad flashing and changing pages.
And at times it also messes with the other programs I have running.
