Congratulations James I was reading my December issue of Midwest Outdoors Magazine tonight and see a picture of a Super Doo, I immediately think there has to be a James Holst article around here and sure enough there you are. Great article, you deserve the recognition and exposure this magazine will provide.

Thank you. I landed a monthly column with MWO and will be using a number of the staffers associated with the site to cover the seasonal patterns and happenings on the Mississippi River with an occassional article on the St. Croix or other local stream or river. Fun stuff… I really enjoy writing!
Next month Koonce and I tag-team to cover Mississippi River early ice panfishing. Even got Koonce to share a couple of his closely guarded secrets for the article.

You can order the Minnesota section of the mag even if you live in Iowa. You just have to tell them what you want. When I moved to Wisconsin I requested to keep the Minesota section and they had no problem with that.
