    This carp looks like it swallowed a basketball. I have now idea what it is but she’s well feed. I foul hooded her running blade baits down a current break for white bass. I had to chase her down with the trolling motor. What a tug- of-war!

    That carp has to be a mutant. If so, pretty cool she survived as long as she did, and from the battle she put up, it’s not much of a surprise. She sounds like a brute. I wonder if maybe she isn’t deformed or is deformed because she carries so many eggs?

    Guys,

    She was hump-backed so she is deformed and extreemly thick. Even at 26″s I’d guess she was around 15 lbs and healthy enough to drag me aroud for a couple minutes. I’m wondering if she wasn’t eating zebra muscles. I dredged a lot of em off the bottom where she was. I thought about poking that belly to see what was there but didn’t want to deal with the mess.

    WOW! I’ve never seen a carp like that this side o’ the Atlantic. Some European ones kind of look like that.
