    Since I live on the Mississippi, walleye is the way to go. When I lived in northern IN, it was steelhead trout, but I still caught walleyes when the trout weren’t running. I guess I’m not surprised at the overwelming response favoring the walleye, since I can almost always get people to go with me if I say I am on this species and successfully catching them.

    That depends on the time of year, there are a lot of cagey species to pursue at different times of the year, and if there’s a hot bite on,i’m in,time and schedule permitting. So i’d say All Game species are my favorite.

    I asked for your favorite fish and you said the spotted bass.
    I did get a few PM’s about other fish that should have made the polling list, maybe next time.
    My favorite answer to my poll via a PM was “The one on the other end of my line”.
