    No tax for me. I received mine on Saturday. This is so much nicer than the FL-8 I used to have.

    I just got my invoice from Reeds and it lists the LX-5 as 2000 watts peak to peak power? Aren’t the new ones 2500? I also was charged $299.99 for the unit,$19.50 shipping, and $15.00 freight for a total of 334.49? I’m starting to get a little confused?

    I know I had to pay taxes in the great state of MN, but why was my total $334 and the 2 others were $329?

    Got mine Saturday. The price was $299.99, not $299. With tax and shipping, it was $334.49. Was hoping for a larger dial, but the price was right. Now have to wait 9-10 months to use it. Thanks for posting the deal.

    I bought mine about 3 months ago from a private party. It was last years model, sent in for the upgrade in power. I paid $375 and I was delighted with how it works, especially for pike in less than 20 feet of water. It’s almost like a video game when you can see the fish come off the bottom and then the rod tip bounces, the hook set and it all flows so nicely. I had a customer from Texas I took out on the ice about a month ago and they had read about how to use the electronics while ice fishing in a magazine. The guy outfished the other three people on the trip and was so into the experience. Made his trip better than the last two years I took him. Anther friend will usually outfish us without the technology, but he moves continuously and jiggs the heck out of his lures.
    I’m interested in the camera, so please supply the website or contact info for Reeds.

    You have to call Reeds to get the $299.99 price. I ordered mine last week around Tue.-Wed. if i remember correctly and I got it today. Should of got it on Sat. but the Fed Ex guy was in a major hurry!
