I thought about that! Last name is definitely not common.

Deutsch would be the last name. Pronounced Doitch, as in Deutsch Bank.

Keep them coming all, some of these are very promising!

Don’t know where it came from but as soon as I said your last name out loud this came to mind…………………

Nick (Doitch)Deutsch. Nicholas but Nick for short. Sounds pretty powerful to me.

Brody is a great name for a future sportsman.

I had hardly ever heard the name until my step daughter and husband named their baby boy Brody on Dec. 12th 2008.

Now I think it is a real good name.

    Cute little guy isn’t he.

Colton was the name of the teenage son of the outfitter I went elk hunting through years back. I loved the name until he started crying when his dad yelled at him. That single event changed my first born son’s name.. And i’m serious!

If he comes out with a beer in one hand and a fishing pole in the other then I might consider letting you use the Redneck label

Two obvious ones came to mind, just for being listed in the phonebook with last name first. You could name him Bag, or Mark. Then he could be listed as a Deutsch Bag or a Deutsch Mark. I would only name him Bag if plan to really dislike the little guy.

I guess you could also name him Sprechen Z. Deutsch

What not one vote for Sue?! Sorry I had to do it.

If you don’t want a boy named Sue I guess Brody works!

I used to work with a guy named Marshall, his calls always got taken or returned, since everybody assumed he was law enforcement.

Well we had a name and changed it, I like good strong names, I really was going to do James, but the wife came up with Carter and I was good with that, so That’s what we named him, I like the name a lot, haven’t ran into any other (yet).

I also liked Felix, but got promptly overuled….

Oh I’m rather partial to the the suggestion of “Nick”

I am not a big fan of all the “newfangled” names. I have a friend with Gavin, Griffon, and Cameron and I laugh. They will be the last kids in school who can spell their names If you want a name that is not popular, go old school.

Hank, Fred, Cody, Max, Cleetus, Arthur, etc.

I named my son Sam. I figured he needed all the help he could learing to spell his name with my genetics.

I am just glad it was not Bag

    How about Vern!

Anyone ever heard Saturday Sports Talk on AM1500 when they do the Baby Walk at the State Fair? The parents bring their baby up to the stage & Joe & Pat either approve or disapprove the name. It’s always a funny bit. I also like the Girls State Basketball Tournament name analysis. Lots of creativity in those names. That’s coming up in a couple weeks.

Good luck with the name. My brother had his 2nd last night. The name: Emmett Cole

Thanks all for the great responses. The wife read through them last night and laughed out loud several times.

If anything this post has lighted the mood in our house with the great name debate!

Keep them coming! All names considered! Well almost all names!
