A great starter pack for most anywhere would be

    firecracker/chart
    Chart Pepper
    Pro-blue
    Oyster
    Purple/chart

The right weight jig is more important than the color in my opinion.Dont cheat yourself on jig sizes.Black is a favorite for pitching.Sour apple or orange chart for dirty water jigging.

Cant beat that selection…High murky water, good to have darks and brights as Dean suggested…clearer water beckons the neutrals (naturals) like Oyster blue, Special Chart, Cotton candy etc…
If I had to I could live with Pro Blue, Purple Chart tail, and FireCracker most days…

I don’t fish pool four that often, but I do fish the miss a lot- In my opinion a mississippi river walleye is a mississippi walleye for the most part. I had been using the goldcracker chart, and the purple cracker chart earlier this winter when the water was really clean…they performed excellent..and they are going to be producers!

Like Deano said, jig weight is crucial, and that is the great thing about BFT- All the color combination’s and the right jig head weights allow you to fine tune your presentation to effectively present the baits to the fish!

    It’s a win win!!

Good luck out there and let us know how you do!

Joe did you happen to see the Draggin Jig Colors? There is a straight blue, gold(gold isn’t listed but it is available), and a fire orange color in the draggin jig that are available through the website.

These are great little jigs that fish great through cover.

    Available in three sizes: 1/16, 1/8, 1/4

Here is a video showing just how effective these little draggin jigs are.

Good luck out there, and let us know if you have any other questions on the B Fish N Tackle product line!

I should mention that in extreme dirty water, the Catalpa orange, and brighter chart options come into play.

I’ve been down to pool 4 probably 6 times in the last week my best color hands down was the camo that I picked up at everets, also whatever advise Dean gives you I would listen.

If you get by the NW Sport show this weekend Joes sporting goods has some BfishN tackle at there booth. Everts has a huge selection of plastics and more. Moores bait and tackle in S. MPLS has a pretty good selection to.

    My choices are

    Purple/chartreuse.
Oystershell, cotton candy or fire cracker. Some sort of natural pattern. If it has a colored tail at times thats even better.
White paddle tail. This is just a good all around fish catcher. Bass, white bass, walleyes and just about anything will hit it.
