I am heading up to the Winnie area later today and was wondering what the snow fall accumulation was from yesterdays storm.

I didn’t make it. The snow drifted everything in. One drifted area sticks out in my mind . The bridge over the dam on #9 was directly downwind. I bit a drifted area that is still stuck in my truck grill. Took me 12 hours to get home from canada yesterday. Winnie did not look good around 9 pm. (sarcasm follows):….Good luck to those heading north White knuckle driving last night

The skidplate and pumpkin were dragging all the way from duluth. Brakes packed with powder

yeah that dam road (#9) doesn’t get much sunlight either and can stay icy. Are you going to be up there this weekend Matt? If so send me a PM

It could be thawed in my garage if need be. Will cost Cal some beers though.

We got 12-14″ of fresh snow with some good winds that is stacking it up pretty good. Then this morning it was below zero.

It’s never below 40 in my garage. However, when Matt and I start problem solving, the temp seems to rise quickly from all the hot air.
