Anyone happen to have any problems with their gps position being locked on saturday or is it just me? Cuz I’m hoping something was just wrong with the satellites. Frustrating 
but I got a lowrance 525c and ever since I installed the latest navionics chip the gps positioning and sonar sensitivity is all screwed up 
Anyone else ever had this problem? Could it be caused by the chip? Advice plz.
I had a similar problem with a different brand and had to go to the site and do a hard reboot. They might give instructions on the Lowrance sight.
Make sure you backup any waypoints before you do a hard reset, I do believe you could try a soft reset first. Never done either so I can’t you how too

I was instructed by both Lowrance and Humminbird that units should be set to default settings when loading software upgrades and software additions
