If there is someone you need to call, talk to or just say Thank You, Don’t Wait… This morning I lost my uncle, the one who took me on my 1st Walleye opener at upper Red Lake 40 yrs. ago. the one who took me on my first MN. deer opener almost 40 yrs ago. He taught me many life lesson,s along the way. Although I had wanted to call him and thank him many times, I was to busy, selfish and thought this great man would live forever. Don’t carry this burden, DON”T WAIT…

So sorry to hear the loss of your uncle. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family. I understand the feelings there. My father’s uncle is the one that got me into trapping and predator hunting. I think of him often and wonder if he knows how well I learned from him.

The fact he took you on at least 2 “Magical Moments”, means he knew what it meant to you & I suspect he enjoyed it too. Good advice though, noone ever knows when the time will come. My Condolences on your loss.

Tough loss… sorry to hear that!

I’m sure he knew, they always do. My only advice is to pay it forward. Keep his memory and the tradition alive…

    Sorry for your loss, jkratky.

I for one know what you mean about ‘don’t wait’. I had a lot of guilt after I lost my brother (suddenly).

One thing that I really wanted do was to take him fishing in my boat. I was off doing my own thing, and never got around to making any plans to do it.

(Maybe someone reading will give in and call that person that they have been meaning to.)
