I’m on the other extreme. I picked up my fishing llicense today and it was $0.00. That lifetime license is sure nice!!!
Now when I starting getting all my South Dakota non-resident stuff later in the year then I’ll beat that all to heck—-unfortunately

That’s right, they aren’t charging for Sr. licenses any longer are they.

I’m not complaining as far as I’m concerned its money well spent….

I like to get most of my Minnesota stuff taken care of early in the year.

Wisconsin Fishing license I usually grab first trip over.

I’ll have to wait on my Pheasant licensing for the great state of South Dakota until later in the season!…

I did get a 5 Dollar foot-long “subway” out of the deal with the change left over from the Hondo I handed over to the DNR…..

    yeah I can beat that,

    here ya go.

this is the bill from st. paul childrens for 12 hours

    blood products $546.00

    cardiology $1884.00

    emergency room $3213.00

    Laboratory $6,312.00

    Medical supplies $101.00

    Radiology $1,981.00

    Respiratory services $4,473.00

    Professional fees $990.00

    Pharmacy $10,439.94

    Room charges $5,678.00

for a grand total of $35,617.94.

now if my duaghter can spend that much in 12 hours, thats a new boat, fully loaded, with all new fishing gear. can’t wait to get the bill from childrens in MPLS, but other than that. I haven’t got my new liscence yet so I can’t personally be that.

this was meant for a joke, but the bill is true and correct.

Shane, the day your daughter out fishes you, you’ll completely forget about that bill. My oldest was a high risk (preaclasmia SP??) and I had bills rolling in for months. I carried a little anger over that bill until the day I was laying on the couch and she just stared into my eyes while snuggled in my arm. Haven’t thought about that in almost 13 years.

    Patrons $165.00
    Guide 40.00
    Misc other 65.00

    $270.00

    Randy,

you are absolutely right. the day I get her out of the hospital will be the last time I think of them bills like that. she is precious to our family and is very missed. I am going to keep them bills for her scrap book and tell her that she won’t get a car because she spent her budget, and also add in the no nursing home cluase for me and mom. it will be the family joke between us and her.

but you are right on that, I am not going to think think about them after this. I was just being a smart about the 94.50.

I’m with ya! I haven’t ‘bought’ a license in 8 years now or so. I figured it would take me 13 yrs to pay it off when I bought it, but I cut it in half because I go so much. Paid off, the way I figure. Sure is nice…..just wish it applied to my out-of-state trips too!
