Is there any way of putting a block on an email address so as to reject incoming emails from that address?

In Outlook Express go to Tools-Message Rules-Blocked Senders List. Put the address in there- – -jerr

Thats fine if that sends those messages to the deleted file, but is there anyway to have an automaticly generated message sent to the person who has been blocked that messages from their address are not being delivered? Or is there already some default program doing that?

I’ve got a program called Mailwasher that bounces the stuff I designate as unwanted. If you Google it, I think you’ll find a free download. It takes a little work setting up your acceptable emails, but once you have it set up, it does a pretty fair job separating the wheat from the chaff. It’s programmed to not accept or reject anything till you tell it to- jerr

I haven’t messed with those rules for a while, but I do recall that it’s able to reply to that email address with whatever message you would like.

Be nice Jack….besides, I have a couple of email addresses.
