Stren braid / need feedback

    I was looking to save a few dollars and going to buy 1500 yards of hi vis stren braid. Does anyone have any feedback of how this line performs. Any comments would be great. i have always used powerpro.

    Stren is a very tough and abrasion resistant braid. I think PP and Sufix may have slightly better castability…(1500 yds would last me about 2000 refils)…I back my braid with mono…I think aside from extremely cold temps, you will find it serves you just fine. I seem to recall some stiffness with it in below freezing temps.

    Thanks for the reply Tom. I think I will give it a try. 50 dollars for 1500 yards I can not really pass it up. I wish it would last me that long. Too many poles to respool. again thank you
