Lake Winnie Info

I am taking my second trip up to lake Winnie this summer, I went up the third week of June five years ago, thinking about early August this year due to schedule conflicts with some of my cohorts. In ’04 we got there just after a MN. state bird hatch that just about sucked us all dry. Eyes were picky, but still hitting three ways fairly well, bass were good a few early ams across the inlet from Starks. I was wondering if anyone had input as to what to expect in early August. A fair number of us are avid trout guys so any tips about that realm in the area would be appreciated as well as info on what to be expected on Winnie or CFS. Thanks Chris
