You never know who you will find on IDO…….I’m looking for someone to do a printing job. I need 30 table runners, approx 8″ x 96″, off-white paper, with deer tracks “walking” down the length of the runner. Anyone capable of this?

Tom “Bluefleck” Donaldson has the printers that will do the job. I’m not sure of his workload. But shoot him a PM. He has the equipment to just about any job.

He was my first email….but he said this wasn’t something he could do. I think he is more advanced than what I need.

Now that’s a first. Something Tom “can’t” print.
Sorry. That was my only suggestion for you. Hopefully someone else will step up with a lead.
I wish I could have helped. Unfortunately, the stock I have avail. is too heavy for the application. My paper is more in tune with card stock or poster paper.
Good luck with your search.
Magnum Graphix out of Rochester can do it for ya. My best buddy works there and is down here in Winona all the time. Give him a call his name is Mike Goodrich he can hook you up for sure. Tell him Jerry sent ya(507)272-3653 Or you can call their main office. (507)424-6333

Second…he can’t print money for crap either.
Hope you find someone June.
Couldn’t you just get one of those big rubber stamps of a deer hoof, or use an actual hoof, and just hand stamp deer tracks down a paper table cloth from Target or somewhere? Just an idea in case you can’t find somebody to print it.

Well, that is my only option if I can’t get the job done elsewhere. The thing is…….I need 30 of these table runners. Hand stamping will take up a lot of my fishing time between now and August.
The nephew is having a camo themed wedding, I’m helping with the wedding plans, and I suggested chocolate brown table cloths, (which is the bridesmaids dress color) with the runner down the center, full length, with the deer tracks “walking” down the table runner. I also offered to bring some chocolate covered raisins to place by the tracks….instead of the cutesy mints…..but I don’t know if that part will pass the mother-in-laws.
I never understood why people would want a wedding to be camo themed?????? I am more passionate then most about hunting and would’nt even consider such a theme for my wedding, so I’ll be wearing pink… I guess it’s to each their own… Good luck
Your going to need a printer that is huge. A rolland mymaki or Mutoh printer or Ghandi has a huge one I would call midwest screen and sign they have numerous shops and are a great company let me know if you need anything.
You just have to find a shop with a large format HP Plotter. They can print the images multiple times up and then you can take a x-acto knife and trim them out. It would be way to expensive to print on a offset press. I know the Kinko’s in my area have these style printers. Let us know what you find out.
how about just having a bunch for hoof print stickers made up?
Also – try Albinsons in MPLS (or any architectural/engineering printer) – they might have a oce printer that has roll stock paper that could be as long as you needed and probably less $!
PM me for more info – thanks again for the awesome trolling motor
Thanks for all the tips and all who sent a PM…..I’m checking with the various printers, should be able to find something that works.
As always………….IDO comes through.
