Any members have a line on a used, plastic drum for free or cheap? Looking for something around 55 gallons, give or take. Needs to be watertight, open-topped, and food-grade (i.e. nothing toxic has been stored in in). Please PM if you have any ideas!

Ralph….I think I have one for you. We bottle 5 gallon bottles here at Culligan and the soap we use comes in plastic 55 gallon drums. You’d have to wash the remaining soap out of there but you could have it for free. Let me know if that would work out for you.

I would call a few junkyards, they usually have some or can get some.

I have a bunch at the Kemps milk plant in town I can get you if you want to come get it. They are all food quality stuff.

Probalby just cut it in half, use one for a water bowl and one for food.

I’m guessing it has something to do with bull heads. Just a shot in the dark.
