I’m not an electrician but have played one on TV. Yep 220 / 221 whatever it takes. What do you need Steve?

That’s what I found when I took the paneling down. I fixed it. The inspector even said it looked good.

Well you wet the wires for better continuity of course. I know you fished in the dark but didn’t realize you lack light during daylight hours too.

Actually it’s for wiping the sweat from my brow whenever I work around hot wires.

Thanks for all replies and PM’s, I got quite a few of them so I decided to post here instead of reply to all of them. We just need a few odds and ends done nothing major, need a few outlets in our basement, one light switch needs rewiring, wife wants a new light fixture in the bathroom, the old one acts up sometimes and will not work. We will also need to eventually put up a new ceiling fan in the kitchen but need to paint the ceiling first. Last but not least the door bell does not work, we put in a new door this fall with a new built in door bell the problem is the old wire is so brittle that it breaks when you try and screw the wire down. For those of you that sent PM’s that are out of town I am thinking that it would probably not be worth the drive for you.
