Crude oil has dropped to about $36 a barrel.

Why does the price of gas just keep increasing?
    Greed?
    Price gouging?

Probably both. Watch the gas price keep increasing, especially as farmers start in the fields. I think it will be between 2.50-3.00 by summer. Still a great deal cheaper than the $4+ I paid on my way to last year’s two-week fishing trip to northern Minnesota last year. I’m hoping for no more than 2.50 so I can get by with $100 bill to fill my boat up.

I sure hope you are wrong. That would really put a damper on my summer again.

A half million people lost their jobs in the last 45 days and they feel it is ok to raise gas prices? With oil prices down and demand way down it is very obvious the price is manually controlled.

They can come up with an article of excuses, whenever they want it seems…..

The price of oil is down so therfore the price is up…. the price of oil is up, so therefore the price is up…. the demand is so high, so therfore the price is up…. the reserves are so full, so therfore the price is up…. the wind has changed direction, so therefore the price is up….

So is the Sturgeon Excursion…prices always jump about 30 days before the unofficial start of the open water season.

Today when filling in Two Harbors I noticed that Diesel was 2.05/gal and unleaded regular was 1.95/gal. So diesel at least has come back in line with unleaded although it should still be cheaper.

This Article explains the gas situation to some extent.

What a bunch of crap, looks like they can just name their price. My wife and I have started car pooling more regularly again. Pooling saves us 40-45 miles each day.
