I say congrats to Matt!
A win is a win, ya there were better cars out there but he put himself in the right position to win, with a little help from Happy
. They should cut the pre-race junk, then they could of had time, personal thing.
I’m not a 88 fan but I don’t think that was all on him. I think Vickers slowed and Jr caught and spun him. It was a racing deal. I for one was glad to see Jr get aggressive, little bit like the old man.
I agree on the prerace stuff…..getting to be too much. If they would have cut all that crap, they could have started the race earlier, and avoided the rain being a factor.
As far as 88, He did a good job trying to overcome some pit row errors, and they were all driving hard to get in place in case of the rain. I also think Vickers was as much at fault, he had no business dropping down on a car coming up at a high speed if he couldn’t cut in ahead of him, and maintain proper speed to stay ahead of him. And you can’t fault JR for trying to get back in line. We’ve seen them get caught in these situations, it’s a part of racing hard to win.
