This time of year its all about Perchin’! I like to stick to the deeper edges of the mud and will even go 100 yards to 2000 yards off that flat. I give a certain location only 10 minutes trying to find an area that holds some perch. I f I find em’ I drill 20-30 holes and pop around catching em’ with my electronics. Nothing better than 40-50 degree weather and hole hoppin’!!! RR

I agree with that approach and location, especially during the day. Target perch well off the flats. You may even get a bonus walleye. If you make it till evening, set up right on the break line of the flat you have been around. Good Luck.

I fished off 2 mile south out of Hunters this weekend, I caught 1 perch over a pound. Lots and I means lots of little perch and walleyes down there. The jumbos seemed that afternoon would be the ticket Good luck
