Feb 13th: flock of robins are in my yard..

    well kids it must going to actually get warm some day in the midwest.. I have a big flock of robins in my yard right now.. and its only February the 13th..

    I thought that I saw one the other day, but today there are a ton of them.. good things are coming soon..

    Lots of robins dont migrate. I have been seeing them out in the open too since the snow melted drawing them out of their winter hiding spots.

    I saw some in early January. I think with many people now feeding birds, they just stick around.

    We have a bunch of crabapple trees where I work (right along the marsh) and we have them around all winter for 2 years now…

    It’s really weird seeing robins when it’s below zero..

    Spring on the way, saw 3-4 bluebirds on the property this afternoon. That’s the 2nd time I’ve seen them since the “deep freeze”.
