Thank You Ken,for taking the time to share your special talents with all of us.
My Dad’s name is also Ken. I hope you get a chance to meet him up there. You two would make a helluva team !

It’s hard to believe that our IDO brother Kenn is no longer with us. His love for conversation, for wildlife and photography will never be matched again by anyone else. He truly had a gift for life and he magically was also able to express himself all through a camera lens. Thank you for being a part of our family Kenn and may you rest in peace. Your photos that you so graciously shared, will help us remember what you stood for and forever will be etched in our memories.

One of the best people i’ve never met. I will really really really miss his photos, and his input on the site.

My prayers are with he and his family and they he is happily reunited with his daughter.

Sad, sad news. I didn’t know him personally but his posting here spoke more than words could say about an obviously great person who loved the outdoors more than most . I knew his daughter and am friends with his son-in-law. My heartfelt condolences go out to the family in this time of hardship. Take care and bless you all.

Ken and I fished pool 2 and the Croix several times. He was always open to checking out new spots over pounding the community holes. When the telemetry study on pool 2 came out I think we hit every single blip on map!!! Lol, that was a fun year. I enjoyed his company and will miss his postings here.

Take care Ken, rest in peace.

I never met Ken in person but I had many a “discussion” with him on IDO. One time I ripped into him pretty good about something he posted. A little later I had a PM. When I saw it was from Ken I thought, “Oh man! He’s gonna let me have it.” Nope! I had posted something somewhere else about what I had mistakenly called a peregrine falcon nest. In his PM he was real excited and wanted to know if I was certain it was a peregrine falcon. I PM’d him back and said I think I posted in mistake and that it was a osprey nest. Ken replied back a little disappointed; but he told me to send him a PM anytime I saw a good potential pic. He never said a word about our on-line disagreements.

Ken, I really wish that had been a peregrine falcon nest. God Bless you and your family.

RIP ken. I have nothing to add that hasn’t already been said.

Mods, Can we start a view only thread with pics Ken has posted over the years? no comments will be needed.

With the thousands of pics Ken took over the years that would be quite the undertaking. I think if members want to view his photos only the best thing to do would be to go to his photo page. The link to Kens photo’s is in Tucks post “Rivereyes Photo Album” pinned to the top of the General Discussion Forum.

I had the pleasure of fishing with Kenny a few times. I dug thru some old photos and found this one from 2003. I did’nt matter what size fish he caught, his smile was always the same. I’ll never forget that smile. Kenny you will not be forgotten.
