I had a Dane in the past as well, did the same thing. You should see them when they lay out on the couch. Looks just like a guy napping. Funny as heck.
I mentioned that I had a Rotti and a Dane the Rotti way smart, the Dane well he was a great guy but not so smart.

Yup that did pass my mind. You get lots of time to think within a 30 hour span on the road.
But you also know me and how once I am fixated on something there is nothing that will tear me away…that is until the next bright bouncy ball goes by and I have to chase that!!

Congrats on the new dog.
I have a smart one and a dumb one at home and love them both. We’ll hate to see these 2 go but a guy kinda looks forward to the next one you get too. I’m thinking bulldog.

Here’s pics of the 2 knuckleheads I have now. Kerry Blue Terrier and a Jack Russell Terrier. Jacks ate the biggest little dog you’ll ever meet.

Once he’s done growing, I want to get a picture of him next to a Shetland pony
