It took me 7 months to get my rebate, this was not a smooth process. When I mailed my application in I kept a photo copy and also sent the app certified. I then recieved a notice that the application was recieved and issued a tracking number. After a couple of calls to Lowrance I found out Lowrance was not handling the rebates, they hired a rebate company to handle the transactions and they were being slow because they were overwhelmed. When I finally got my rebate around Christmas, it was in the form of a post card. It looked like junk mail and could easily be discarded, I then posted a notification on IDO making consumers aware so their rebates didn’t get tossed. The rebate was not conceiled so, basically if someone went through your mailbox they saw a check for the amount you were owed. When I took the rebate check to the bank to cash, they had to call in a supervisor because they thought the rebate certificate was a scam with no cash value, everything worked out and I got my check cashed.
