Not Ford fan, but it looks like it could be fun. I wonder what the price will be ? The last line in the story says, “we don’t have to sell alot of them to be profitable”…

Sweet truck! I like the new Ram too. But I can hardly wait for the treehugger’s response after the bailout to the auto industry.

That is one nice looking truck!!! But sounds like there is a lot of expensive things to fix if they break.

I’m very curious about the 6.2 liter engine. It doesn’t appear to be at all based on the current platform.

Also it will sell in my opinion. In the rinky dink dealer I work in we’ve sold 4-5 GT 500’s Mustangs last year and a handful of Shelby’s as well as a bunch of Mustang GT’s. But the GT 500’s are pushing 55 grand and they simply don’t stay put. Unless priced above 55-60 grand I don’t think selling 4-5000 of these a year is going to be hard.

Besides they are not on sale yet and could very easily be delayed 2-3 or more years. Who knows. I hope not though, get them built!

Saw that a couple months ago. Nice looking truck. I would be very interested in driving one with the 6.2 liter in it. Got to have some pretty good zip being in an F150 body.

Finally a company realizes that a truck is an off-road machine, not a low slung street machine. Leave that to the cars!

I am not a Ford fan by any means, but I sure do like this! I hope they build it and i get to see some on the street.

I agree though, parts are probably going to be fairly expensive to replace… But i’m going out on a limb and guessing the most hardcore of off-road drivers won’t be buying these, as they build their own.

Looks pretty cool with gas under $2 Gas over $4 not so cool No matter how bad the economy is there will still be plenty of people with money to buy it.Lot of people still buying high buck high HP cars that dont get much for mileage.

    VERY sweet truck.

I agree with Riverratt, I think they’d sell like hot cakes.
