    I will be heading down Friday morning. Meeting up with my brother and Uncle, then looking for some IDOers.

    Possibly thinking about swinging by with the girlfriend and doing it in conjunction with a trip to Cabelas. Would anyone be able to set us up with some gear for a couple hours, she’s never ice fished before and wants to try it…

    My wife and I are going to try to get there on Friday by noon. We’d like to get out on the ice for a little bit Friday afternoon.

    Blue- my wife is glad to hear you are bringing your wife along too. They will get along just fine. Maybe they could split a case of Guinness.

    were going to be fishing “Fish Lake”

    No kidding…we used the camera there on sunday…plenty of gills…LOTS OF BASS so bring your tip ups !!!

    I’ll have a map made out for those that are new to the area

    What state license will i need for this outing? If we get onto the ice from the Wisconsin side, do i need a non-resident Wisconsin license, or can I use an Iowa license? Thanks!

    An Iowa Lic. will work just fine.

    BTW….thanks for reminding me. My Non-Res Iowa Lic. has expired. Looks like I’ll need to get a new one.

    Mmmmmm…..homemade sauerkraut!

    Does anyone have a portable fire pit they can bring out? A couple of them may come in handy Saturday.
