It was at least -22 on this side of the long creek this morning.. but the truck started up.. It didn’t want to.. and it acted like it had 4 flat tires.. but we made the trip into town right on time..

very very little traffic today.. I assumed that everyone stayed home with their kids..

Why can’t they close the University as well for one day? It takes an act by the GOVERNOR TO DO IT..

29 above in my insulated garage and -26 outside of it. 55 degree difference. The steam rolled out like crazy when I opened the door.

I have an in-floor heating system but I never hooked it up. I really don’t think I need to. The heat from the vehicles engines seems to keep it warm enough. If I ever make it into a full time workshop, I’ll hook it up, but I don’t think it will take much to heat it.

24 below and the windchill around 50 below from the weather channel Icon on my pc. Its been awhile since we’ve seen these temps. Just heard from the local weather station here in town that it got to 29 below, that broke a record that was set in 1974.

-31 outside this morning, 78 degrees inside of my poultry barn………when the fans run, the barn fills with fog so thick, you can’t see 5′ in the barn.

Looks to be, if they are right, a great weekend for being on the ice though.
