-26….. Stinks for preparing for ice guide customers, but great for sweet corn and tomato ground in Kentucky. It’s 10 degrees there with no snow on the ground so the bad microscopic critters are biting the dust right now. The ground is organic so any help the weather can give is always great… I really wish it was -26 there right now.
Funny how perspectives on good and bad, as well as cold goes can be very different.
For example: Close fishing friends think it’s amazing that I can stand to be down in Kentucky when some of our best Spring fishing is going on here….
My perception : Except for the peak of planting and peak of picking my field work only takes about 15 hours a week ….guess what!!!! a great little State Park lake with loads of bass and crappie, which is grossly underfished is 15 minutes away, and the mega twins of Barkley/Kentucky Lake are 45 minutes away. but I’ll just have to live with the sacraifices
