Well it worked with Schlitz now they are trying the original Old Style with Krausening. I’m sure there are fans out there. I barfed this stuff up a few times as a teenager so I cant say I ever really had a taste for it..

My guess is no, but it dosen’t really say does it. I sure hope they don’t charge Schlitz prices. I tried it once and then I said to myself: Self if I’m gonna pay that much for a twelver it will be much better than that!

No Dout! I’ve been buying Old Style lately because I hate paying for a case of budlight w/ a 20 and only getting coins back

Like you said, Hopefully if it does change the price does hike… As long as I can keep buying Leinies Orig for $11/case I’ll be happy

Does this ever bring back the old college days in La Crosse and the brewery tours….

my roommate took the tour every Thursday at 4PM.. for two years solid.. He knew the brewmaster by sight.. and some of the other workers as well.

it had nothing to do the free beer at the end of the tour.. that was just a bonus..

and if you believe that, I have a blue bridge that I won in a Charter Cable raffle.. I can let you have it cheap..

soiunds bad, but I got tired of that also. so I went out and made a kegmeister for about 60 bucks. and get a keg for 90.00 and that is, from what I am told about equivilent to 7 or 8 cases.

A normal keg is about 7 cases.

Petey, do you have a Sam’s club anywhere near buy?? We buy all our beer there. Many times we can get under $15.00 a case, no higher than $15.50. And you don’t have to worry about the squirts from drinking this rock gut beer. Just be prepared, if you buy like my wife does, you’ll have to sign a paper stating this is not for resale.

I sure do miss the Cold Spring that the FW brought home from the grocery store.

Hey BK they still make Cold Spring, I believe they are more a local micro brew, but they still crank out some dandy tasting beer brands! Just went through Cold Spring last fall and picked up some assorted 6-packs, made some friends happy!

Cold Spring became Gluek and they have switched back to Cold Spring now.
