    I am looking for some small lakes for pan fish. I am going up there for business, I will have a couple of hours in the evening. I don’t need your top secret spots, just want to kill some time.
    Any help would be appreciated

    There are quite a few nice options that’ll produce some decent crappie fishing in the evenings. Margaret, Roy, Upper Gull, Edna/Fawn, Gladstone, Cullen, or Clamshell. You can get into some sunfish on Nisswa or North Long 371 bay, and towards evening you catch a few crappies too. Just try the basin areas, thats where they are at. Good Luck.

    My brother who lives in Baxter said Roy is kicking out some nice crappies.

    South Long between Brainerd and Mille Lacs kicks out some nice sunnies, crappies, and small perch.
