well at least it is not another card rules question.

but come to think of it……I have a card quesiton….
when playing cards with Buckshot, would you call or fold to his bluff?

answer…..neither as I would never catch myself at a table with him

Salt got it covered, I’ll just chisel it off the truck.

I could have sworn I bought a burgundy truck but looking at it last night it is closer to white.

    That’s funny stuff Bronco!!

The correct answer is to call my bluff….IF you are sure I’m bluffing…but you better be positive….cuz once in a while I don’t bluff.

If its an old driveway like over 8 years, don’t bother. When doing concrete driveway maint., the only thing you’re really doing is keeping it clean and unpenatrable. You can use an acid wash and pressure washer to clean it. Then a coating of really expensive sealer/protectant. This should have been done after it was installed but not necessary. The best thing you can do to care for exterior concrete is not salt it. Salting can flake a driveway in 2-3 years. If you want it to hold its color, then a good sealer is the way to go. It must very thoroughly cleaned with acid first though. But,…..don’t salt the driveway and it may last 30 years.

Who ever poured your driveway should have put a sealer on it right after they finished the driveway.

That sealer is good for years depending on the brand but maybe after it was 20(?) years and how hard your are on the concrete you could reseal it.

If you can’t tell just figure out the age of the drive and then go from there.

I would doubt that, unless you specificly asked for it to be sealed. Not to mention the concrete needs to fully cure for 28 days – prior to applying any sealer.

    Just my observations

As for the orginal question – a good sealer would be appropriate.

It was concrete when we bought the house so I don’t know how old it is….I don’t think it is that old. Maybe I will just look into sealing it at the end of the summer.

John if you do seal it, get ahold of me. I’ve got some really good products I’ve used. Various concrete sealers are very different qualities.

Now that I think of it, There are so many companies looking for something to do that you should just hit a few Decorative concrete companies as they’re the most fluent in specialty chemicals and cleaning. You’re looking at spending 3-$500. For work that is worth the effort.

Otherwise, If i’ve time, I can help you. Maybe talk you into some concrete countertops too
