Hi guys, just had a small question. What do you use to protect the LCD screen of your finder? A friend suggested using clear tape… but umm, anyone with any other ideas?

I use a 3.5″ Screen protector I found at Target in the Auto-GPS section. I paid around $14 for a pack of 5 and they fit the I-Finder perfect. I use them on my Cell Phone also………Well worth the money!

You can get a Sony PSP screen protector from a lot of the retail stores also, you would have to trim it to fit though.

They also sell them on Ebay. You can buy one that fits your screen.

i used an invisi-shield (i think its called) on my electronics and it works well. you apply it like aftermarket car window tint… its held up well for me.

you can either buy brand specific ones or you can cut your own from a generic pack.

I tried finding some of this stuff at Best Buy etc for my marine electronic but they only had small stuff for cell phones etc.Anyone know who carries the bigger sheets.I bought some Monster cleaner there though that works great on electronics and computor screens though.A little spendy at $20 I thought but it will last a long time.

Just as an FYI…I used the Monster screen cleaner on my new LMS 520 and it did nothing for it. I used Windex and it worked a lot better. It still left the hard water stains. And here I am promoting that Monster cleaner at work!! It’s good for plasmas that have a coating but lcd screens don’t. I use Windex on mine. But NEVER 409!!!! It will film it up for good!!!

Clear tape?? No way!!!! Please do your finder a favor and get a film or plastic LCD screen protector. Try navprotector.com or do a Google search for a local provider.
