Anyone ever try removing the old sticker before applying the new one? If so, how or with what product was it removed with? I own a fiberglass boat. Or do you just go over the old one? Thanks Just wondering!

There are some products out there that work well. I would try the good old fashion hairdryer first.

Like Ron said the hair dryer should do most of it. You may be left with a slight bit of sticky resin left but there is quite a few products out there that will take that off easy. Just have to be careful on what you use so it doesnt do any harm to the gel coat Good ole fashion elbow greese with a little water would be the safest bet there.

WD40 will get the goop off.

Hair dryer as mentioned to get the stickers off and WD 40 to clean off the adhesive. Works easily and won’t harm the clear coat on nice finish.
